Sourcing, documentation and terms
Sourcing
We source to the manufacturer's part number you specify. If we offer an alternate, we say so on the quote and you decide.
Where we buy
We buy only from original manufacturers and their authorized distributors. Where an item is only available through the independent market, we decline the line rather than supply undocumented material. How we document that.
Documentation
Certificates of conformance and country of origin are supplied on request. Where you need the chain back to the manufacturer, we document it and send it with the order.
Packaging and labeling
Packaging and labeling to your specification, including part number labels, bagging and kitting. Tell us what your receiving desk needs and we quote it that way.
Lead time
Stock items ship from Chicago on receipt of order. Fill-in and made-to-order items are quoted with the manufacturer's lead time on each line.
Warranty and returns
Parts carry the original manufacturer's warranty, which passes to you. We do not extend a separate warranty on manufactured product.
Non-conforming or incorrectly shipped material may be returned for replacement or credit within 30 days. Contact us for a Return Material Authorization (RMA) before returning anything. Where a discrepancy is ours, return freight is ours.
Order size and terms
There is no minimum order. Card or prepay on a first order; payment terms are available to established accounts on request from ap@lxxxiv.us.
Requesting a quote
Email purchasing@lxxxiv.us with the manufacturer's part number, quantity and the date you need it. We confirm the source and come back with unit price and lead time.
